Claus Jensen could make a shock comeback in the white shirt of Fulham before the season ends.

The Whites midfielder has been out since October and last played five-and-a-half months ago against Wigan.

Jensen himself confirmed that he has been back training for a week although admitted a touch of soreness.

Manager Chris Coleman will be delighted to see his midfielder back after several injuries to key players this season have contributed to the team under achieving in the premiership this season.

Injuries to Diop, Pembridge, Elliot, Brown and Malbranque have blighted ay chance of consistency in the side leading to Fulham fighting in the lower regions of the Premiership for most of the season.

But now they are all back and approaching fitness and finally Jensen may return to the side as well to give the Whites a major boost as they aim to win an away game this season and make it well beyond forty points come the end of the season.

‘I trained with the squad on Thursday for the first time and I have trained every day since,’ Jensen said.

‘I can still feel some aching but that is very normal when you have been out for five and a half months.’
