It’s Time For A Good Afternoon As Opposed To A Poor Afternoon Lads

|

This Saturday afternoon, Fulham welcome AFC Bournemouth, to Craven Cottage, for a Premier League fixture.

Following the devastating loss to Cardiff City, last time out, the Bournemouth fixture just has to be one from which Fulham gather some points.

After regaining their Premier League status and spending heavily in the summer transfer window, sitting third from bottom, in a relegation place, wasn’t what the Craven Cottage support had envisaged back in August, with nine games of the campaign under our belts.

Five points from a possible twenty-seven available is, without doubt, relegation form.

But, can Fulham turn matters around this Saturday against a Bournemouth side who are flying high, in sixth place, in the Premier League?

Bournemouth, under the managerial acumen of Eddie Howe, have accumulated seventeen points from the twenty-seven available and will prove to be tough opposition.

However, Slavisa Jokanovic, is optimistic that this season can see Fulham’s fortunes change, remarking ahead of the fixture and as quoted by the BBC;

“We started more or less the same way last season and found a way to find confidence and start playing better football. We can’t compare one season with another.

“Seasons are full of good and less good afternoons. We are still looking for a way to adapt ourselves. When we find a way our mood will be better.”

Sadly, time is of the essence and we need a few more of those good afternoons soon otherwise I fear for our Premier League future.

Can you see Fulham getting the three points on offer this Saturday?
