Fulham have reacted angrily to a story that has appeared in some newspapers this morning!

The story offers speculation that Roy Hodgson will be moved upstairs once our Premier League future has been decided.

Then John Collins, our ex-player and Hibernian manager, will be given the opportunity to take over first team matters.

Whilst many may view it as a logical step forward, a brash young manager running the team with a wise old owl pulling the strings at a higher level, Fulham have been quick to dismiss it as a load of old rubbish!

Oh well! We can but dream!

  • A young manager is what is needed to start things all over again once you go down. But is Collins the right man? I doubt it.

  • Collins isn’t the man for the job right now, he needs more experince Woy should take him under his wing and have him as assistant manager next year

  • We need to keep hold of RH and give him a decent chance to rebuild the squad after the Sanchez debacle. As long as RH convinces the board that he has the energy and the drive to rebuild and try to get us out of the championship we must keep him

  • I agree with donfulham, RH needs a chance to make his own fulham squad and have at least a season to get us back up!
