The draw for the second round of the Capital Cup (League Cup) was made today.
With those participating in European competition exempt until the third round, Fulham were plucked out of the traditional velvet bag to take on Sheffield Wednesday, at Hillsborough.
Sheffield Wednesday came through round one by beating Oldham Athletic 4-2, in a game televised by Sky Sports and will provide Fulham with a tough test.
As they say, it could have been better but it could have been worse!
