Back in the days before the 2019 / 2020 season had kicked off, we asked a pertinent question.

With a swift return to the Premier League being our objective, our article, the-opening-three-games-for-fulham-are-crucial-but-how-many-points-will-we-amass, received a good response.

Now with those opening three games having been played, Fulham sit in 7th place in the Championship, with 6 points from the opening 9 available, courtesy of an opening day loss away to Barnsley and victories at home to Blackburn Rovers and away to Huddersfield Town.

To me, that represents a decent start especially as we’re only one point off the top.

But, with the momentum of two successive victories behind us, can we continue to collect the points?

Our next three Championship games are as follows:

• Millwall (h)

• Nottingham Forest (h)

and

• Cardiff City (a)

My personal view is that Fulham will pick up 7 points from the 9 available but is that something you agree with?

Please feel free to drop into the comment facility beneath this article, the number of points you believe Fulham will take from the next three games.

  • We played some great football against Huddersfield there keeper played a blinder it could have been 4 or 5 WE WILL get promotion this year but we don’t want to come straight back down again
We are a very good championship side but Premier League ????

  • We haven’t really addressed our deficencies from 17/18 that been our playing style been easy to counter and concede goals..I’d be happy for another 6 from 9….its early days still…hopeful for a top 6 finish

  • Fulham have yet to prove themselves. Three wins in a row can be called a run so they are not there yet.
I am not convinced about the defence either. More clean sheets are needed there.
If they can beat the better teams like Leeds then there will be some room for hope
    Time will tell !

  • I don’t think we will lose but I can only see 5 points I would think we will beat milwall and draw with forest and Cardiff. The defence worries me but Steve is a big plus.
