It’s A Trip To The Lions’ Den For Fulham In The Carabao Cup

|

On Tuesday evening, Fulham registered a second consecutive win.

After beating Burnley, in the Premier League, they progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup, or League Cup to us of the elder generation, by beating Exeter City.

Last night, the draw for the third round took place and Fulham supporters were eagerly waiting to see who they would be paired with.

Now, this stage of the competition sees the entry of those Premier League clubs participating in the Champions and Europa League whilst also doing away with the north and south divide, leaving the chance of Fulham being matched against a Premier League big-gun.

However, that wasn’t to be the case with Fulham being given an away tie against Millwall.

The tie means Fulham face a difficult trip to the New Den which can be a hostile environment, especially for a midweek game.

But, if Slavisa Jokanovic’s squad perform at the level we know they can then despite being a tough place to go, here at Vital Fulham, we fancy our chances of going through into the fourth round and moving a step closer to a Wembley final.
