Having safely negotiated a safe passage through to the third qualifying round, we`re set to play RNK Split.
It means a trip to Croatia, next Thursday, to contest a game in temperatures that will border on sweltering.
It`s expected to be greater than 30 degrees centigrade and Aaron Hughes, speaking about such matters has commented,
“This isn`t football weather – it`s for the beach.”
“You don`t look forward to that so much when you must run around.”
“A night like the Crusaders game is good.”
“But the preparation will be no different for a Premier League game.”
A victory over our next opposition will then see us take part in a play-off to reach the Euorpa League proper. It already seems like a long journey does it not!
