Individual Mistakes Play There Part In Contributing To The Inevitable For Fulham

|

Fulham’s woeful season continued at a pace at the King Power Stadium on Saturday when Leicester City became the latest side to inflict an away defeat on our club.

Once again, not only did Fulham fail to keep a clean sheet, on the road, something that would have given them a platform to try and get that elusive first win, but they, once again, conceded two or more goals in a fixture.

Scott Parker, talking to the media after the game and as reported by the BBC, was under no illusion of the task the club faces in order to stay up, whilst also accepting that individual mistakes continue to contribute to our own downfall, remarking:

“Individual errors have cost us the game and have been a massive part of this year.

“It’s going to be really, really tough. I sit here with realism. I understand the situation. I’m not blinded by that.

“The message remains that as long as it’s mathematically possible we fight – but we know it’s going to be really tough.”

Sadly, it remains a question of not if we get relegated but how soon.

My, how the dream has turned into a nightmare!
