One surprise event yesterday saw Fulham recall David Stockdale, from Hull, with immediate effect.
With Stockdale on loan at the KC Stadium, until early in January, we had heard rumours that the Hull boss, Steve Bruce, was so impressed with Stockdale that he wanted to take the former England squad keeper on a permanent deal.
As far as we can make out, but please correct us if we`re wrong, no official reason was given for the early recall. Therefore, are we to surmise that they may be an injury or two lurking around our current goalkeeping unit of Schwarzer and Etheridge?
