Is it really only a week since that glorious afternoon at Wembley Stadium when Fulham Football Club realised their dream of achieving Premier League football in what turned out to be a tense play-off final against Aston Villa?
Apparently so, I guess time becomes irrelevant when much of the last week has been lost in a celebratory haze.
But, following our climb into the top tier of English football, there was one immediate factor we felt the club had to address, namely the future of our wonderful manager, Slavisa Jokanovic.
The Serbian has done a wonderful job but, as we all know, success attracts attention and we’re not ignorant enough to totally ignore the dangers of other clubs wanting to snatch Slavisa away from Craven Cottage.
Thankfully, the situation looks as if it could be addressed over the coming weeks, with the following tweet appearing on social media:

Now, we’d imagine that there’s a lot of hard bargaining to be done before pen is put to paper, namely investing in the squad, securing those who have impressed to new deals and the clubs plans for the future, but at least it’s a start, is it not!
