Making the long trek back from Goodison Park, where Fulham were beaten 3-0 by Everton, I squeezed through the front door of my humble abode just in time to hear the draw for the 4th round of the Carabao Cup.

After beating Millwall (a), in a tricky third-round tie, I was kind of hoping that the Cottagers would be given a home tie, particularly as I fancy our chances of beating any side, on our day, on our own pitch.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be.

Fulham were given the toughest tie of the lot!

The draw wasn’t very kind to us with those pulling the balls out of the sack giving us an away tie against Manchester City, a side that beat us, comprehensively, recently.

If Fulham are to progress through to the 5th round, they’ll have to be on top of their game and hope that Pep Guardiola has bigger fish to fry and plays a weakened side in this competition.
