Or is it time to simply walk away?

Two questions that emanate from an offer that Fulham Football Club have made for the Brighton and Hove Albion defender, Lewis Dunk.

After seeing an original offer of £2.5 million rejected out of hand not that long ago, it appears that in the last twenty-four hours Fulham had another bite at the cherry.

This time around Fulham are said to have offered the south-coast side £3 million for the defender who Kit Symons obviously feels will stiffen up a defence that just wasn`t good enough last season.

However, Brighton have, once again, rebuffed Fulham`s approach and it is believed that for any deal to even be discussed Brighton and Hove Albion want £5 million on the table.

Now whether Fulham are prepared to go that high remains to be seen, but my view is that Kit will be asked to look elsewhere for a cheaper option.

What are your feelings on the subject matter?
