If Rafa Benitez is the manager who champions rotation the Roy Hodgson sits firmly in the other corner preferring to stick with a settled starting eleven.

In fact I can`t recall Roy changing his favoured starting eleven unless injuries and suspension have forced him to.

Whether it`s a ploy he should be congratulated on or not we`re not quite sure, I guess the proof in the pudding will be our final position at the end of the season.

What we can confirm though is that, at the moment, luck seems to have temporarily deserted us; a point Roy has touched on in a pre-match interview when he commented,

“Teams that are playing well and scoring get their lucky goals as well.”

Returning to his squad, he`s adamant that things will turn themselves around and that they are good enough to make an impact remarking,

“I believe the players we have are good enough to get the results we want.”

“There will still be some ups and downs but I`ll be sticking with this squad at the moment.”

“We`re not pretending to challenge the top four, but we do want to challenge the teams below them and that`s what we`re aiming to do.”

Well can we get a move on, some of us are getting nervous looking over our shoulders?
