After having one bid refuted for Paul Scharner, Fulham look like entering another bid for the Wigan player.

Roy Hodgson reamins a huge fan of the player and is keen to lure him to West London.

However, with one bid, reported to be in the region of £3 million, having been rejected the Fulham manager will have to up the ante.

With areas still to be strengthened prior to the transfer window closing, Fulham may well offer an increased bid.

Wigan manager, Steve Bruce, would be reluctant to lose his asset but doesn`t everyone have a price?
