The People claims Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is willing to sell midfielder Jimmy Bullard – in a move that would rip the hearss out of the club’s fans.

Aston Villa and West Ham have made enquiries about the playmaker, who played a key role in helping Fulham’s amazing escape from relegation.

Although the west Londoners have yet to receive any firm bids, it is believed they will consider offers of around ?million for the 29-year-old hero of Craven Cottage.

Hodgson is said to be unconvinced by Bullard’s qualities and the club could cash in on him to help fund summer spending.

Parma’s Australian midfielder Marc Bresciano is a leading target for Hodgson, who has also bid for West Brom’s Hungarian star Zoltan Gera
