As Fulham`s pre-season continues, over in Austria, the lads gained a very creditable draw with the German side, Hertha Berlin.

However, things didn`t get off to the best of starts when the side fell two goals behind, with both those goals coming in the opening fifteen minutes.

The first of the two goals came from Vladimir Darida who scored very early on before our troubles were doubled when Cameron Burgess was deemed to have pushed an opponent at a set-piece conceding a penalty kick, Jens Hegeler stepped up and scored with ease.

But Fulham battled away and the arrears were reduced in the 30th minute when the Hertha Berlin keeper produced a stunning save to deny Cauley Woodrow but Adam Taggart was on hand to score from the resulting corner.

Fulham pushed for an equaliser and were kept in the game by a good save from Marcus Bettinelli from Roy Bereens, but Fulham`s persistence paid-off when Cauley Woodrow scored the best goal of the game, firing home from twenty-five yards out.

Fulham – Bettinelli, Grimmer, Bodurov, Burgess, Voser, Cole (Pringle 63), Tunnicliffe, Hyndman (Christensen 63), Kacaniklic, Taggart (Dembele 63), Woodrow.

Unused Subs – Rodak, Richards, Hutchinson, Cairney.
