For several weeks now Fulham have meant to be signing Diomansy Kamara ‘within twenty four hours.’ Well now it appears as if Fulham will not be signing Kamara within twenty four hours and they will not be signing him this summer as the player they offered in exchange for Kamara, Icelandic international, Heidar Helguson has reportedly refused to join West Brom and uproot his settled family.

Heidar who has been told by boss Lawrie Sanchez that he will be fourth choice striker seems as if he is up for the challenge or at least is waiting till Watford come in a bid for him so he can return to his true home.

Now let’s take the former option, Heidar willing to prove himself to Sanchez. This could only prove good for the Cottagers and would in my opinion definitely would replace the ageing Brian McBride.

Meanwhile Fulham look set to move for Southampton defender Chris Baird after he questioned his future at Southampton today through the media.
