After finally completing his move to Craven Cottage last week, David Healy was, last night, able to pull on a different white shirt for the first time.
He may have had to concede the scoring honours to Diomansy Kamara but that hasn`t stopped the Northern Ireland striker from looking forward to a great future at Craven Cottage.
Here`s what he had to say,
“At Leeds we weren`t doing well as a team or a club and I wasn`t doing well as an individual.”
“Having worked with Lawrie he has seen my capabilities and it`s up to me to prove him that I am the man for the job down here.”
“After my first day of training you could see the quality of the squad and there`s a lot of competition for places up front.”
