With rumours of a move to Sunderland rife, David Healy would have been looking for a confidence boosting goal for Northern Ireland last night.
As it turned out he was to be disappointed. Given the chance to give Northern Ireland a much welcome win at Hampden, he saw his penalty saved by the keeper.
It just goes to show that despite all his goal scoring heroics during the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, Healy is a mortal at international level as well as at club level.
