Hangeland Angst

Anyone who shuffled out of Villa Park, with a few minutes to go, would have missed the only goal of the game on Saturday.

Brede Hangeland probably wishes he wasn`t there as the pain of losing to a last gasp goal is written all over his comments made in the aftermath of the defeat with the Norwegian remarking to the media,

“To lose at the end like that is one of the worst things about football.”

“But we must take it on the chin and get it out of our systems fro next week.”

“We knew it would be a tough game but we were poor in the first half. In the second half though, we improved – so to lose like that was devastating as you can imagine.”

Poor!

Now having witnessed that first half, on the back of a brilliant 5-0 thrashing of Wolves in the previous game, poor is under-stating affairs!
