Ghana Lose at Craven Cottage!

Craven Cottage hosted international football last night (Wednesday) when Ghana entertained Mexico in a friendly international.

Ghana who had a relatively poor African Cup of Nations, by their own high standards, finishing third, were looking to get their international campaign back on track ahead of the forthcoming World Cup qualifying campaign.

Unfortunately, that was not to be the case as Ghana went on to lose 2-1 despite Michael Essien (plays for that lot down the road) opening the scoring in the fifty-fifth minute.

Hopefully, Craven cottage will have proven to be a good setting for such a fixture and will feature soon as an international ground for those teams who have the majority of their players playing in Europe.

You know, and they probably know, it makes sense!
