Making my way back from the Amex Stadium to West London, late on Friday night, I have to say I was feeling sorry for myself.

After watching Fulham, after three good wins on the bounce, get hammered 5-0, by a rampant Brighton and Hove Albion side, I was in one of those moods where silence is often the best way forward.

But life has a habit of getting things into perspective

Yesterday it was reported that, following the fixture on Friday night, Brighton fan collapsed and died.

It appears that the supporter, who was 92-years of age, suffered a heart attack and collapsed and died at Falmer station whilst waiting for his train to arrive.

Two off-duty doctors did their utmost to save the gentleman but to no avail, he passed away watched by two of his family members.

Returning to the getting things in perspective theme, Fulham lost the game, sadly this gentleman lost his life.

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to offer our condolences to the family of the unfortunate gentleman.
