Zoltan Gera has officially left West Brom for Fulham according to the West Brom official site.

The 29-year-old was instrumental in last season’s promotion winning campaign to the Premier League.

Manager Tony Mowbray said West Brom had offered the Hungary international ‘the best contract the club could’.

‘We could do no more. Everyone at Albion appreciated his professionalism on and off the field,’ said Mowbray.

There is no word of it on Fulham’s official site, there’s a surprise!!

The Current Poll suggests the large majority of you guys look forward to this signing. Is that still the case?

  • Very much so looking forward to seeing him play, that should just about cover the midfield i think time for a centr back next

  • On the official now and another good bit of business by Roy. He has had a couple of good sesons at West Brom out of the four he’s been there but most importantly, unlike Kamara, one of those was in the Prem!

  • He was in the premiership team of the season when they went down! So can’t be all bad!

  • he was a great player in the premiership providing he sorts his injury problems out he could be a real star for us. Signed a three year deal with an option for a fourth year, great bit of business

  • I don’t think he’s good enough for the Premiership. The last time West Brom were in the top flight he looked very ordinary.

  • Gera was a great player last time he was in the Prem,he’s been wasting away in the championship for too long, good signing if he still has it.
