After originally being linked with Antti Niemi, Hull City look like snatching another of our keepers.
The man in question is Tony Warner.
Warner started last season as the man in possession of our keeper`s shirt but a series of errors saw him replaced. That doesn`t seem to have put Hull City boss, Phil Brown off who is quoted as remarking,
‘I’m looking for an experienced keeper to come in and challenge and Tony has been doing that at various clubs in the Premier League.
‘He’s got a wealth of experience and I think it’s imperative that we carry three quality goalkeepers in the Premier League next year.’
If the terms offered are favourable, we`d hazard a guess that Warner will be on his way!
