For simply telling the situation how he saw it, Danny Murphy has been harangued from all quarters these last few days.

His comments on managers winding player sup to be a little too aggressive in the tackle have been the hot subject this week.

But whilst all seem only too willing to condemn Danny for speaking his mind, one man, one very respected man, has stepped forward and agreed with Danny.

Dario Gradi, the Crewe Alexandra manager, has come out on Danny`s side and remarked, to his local Radio Station,

‘You don’t play good football if you’re hot headed.”

‘I’m happy to see people make tackles. I’m just not happy for people to risk injury getting tackled.’

At last somebody who sees things correctly, but, and wait for it, soon the cries will championing the fact that Dario only came out with such comments because he has close connections with Danny purely because Danny started his career at Gresty Road.

And still the row rumbles on!
