Roy Hodgson wasn`t the only one who ‘lost it` when Kamara hit that third goal on Saturday.
People all around me were jumping up and down, hugging each other and generally losing it.
Even though you`d never met the person next to you, you couldn`t help hugging them wildly as the realization set in that we`d pulled off a minor miracle.
If any of you took time to look to the bench you`d have also witnessed the sight of Roy Hodgson jumping up and down madly, not something he usually does.
Here`s what he had to say on that moment,
“At half time I asked my side not to lose the second half – but they went beyond that.”
“I try to be behave a bit more dignified on the touchline than I did twenty years ago.”
“But when that winner went in, you can see the passion and the enthusiasm I still have and that should never be in doubt.”
Roy, if you`d have done a cartwheel down the touchline nobody would have batted an eye lid mate – we were all in a different world!
