Now normally I`d have dismissed this particular rumour in an instant but even though Bobby has done remarkably well this season, now I`m not so sure!
Although a move to Pompey would seem to be a backward step didn`t we all think the same about Bobby moving to Hull?
On that occasion Bobby was allowed to talk to the Hull management was he not.
Now whether that same opportunity will arise in January as Avram Grant seeks to reshape Portsmouth remains to be seen.
In fact it also remains to be seen whether there is an ounce of truth in this rumour as well.
I guess the answers will come once that transfer window opens will they not?
