After all the rumours surrounding this proposed transfer – the news did not exactly come as a surprise to many Fulham fans

Fulham FC today announced that a fee of £5 million pounds has been accepted for Bobby Zamora through the clubs official website, with the official statement reading,

“Fulham Football Club can confirm that it has agreed a fee of £5million for the sale of Bobby Zamora to Hull City. Further details will follow?”

This would see a small profit on the striker who joined only last summer as part of a double transfer along with John Pantsil, with his part of the fee rumoured at £4.8 million

It is also widely thought that the money from this sale will be used to launch a bid for Peter Crouch

  • as long as we get a forward in that can either hold up play well, or give us a different dimension than we had… i certainly don’t want to become a route 1 style of team if we bring in crouch…
