Fulham – Your Best Gladiator Was?

Now the dust has settled on that night in Rome and we`ve had time to digest all what happened, including some shocking red card decisions, we need to unveil who you though gave the best performance in a Fulham shirt.

Unfortunately, the one person I`d liked to have seen do enough to win the accolade, Erik Nevland, was one of those treated harshly.

Nevertheless, there were several fine performances so without further delay we`ll reveal the top two.

In first place, after giving his all, often chasing a lost cause up front, was Clint Dempsey with 47% of the vote.

Did Clint deserve to finish on the losing side? I think not!

In second place was Bjorn Helga Riise who put in some great work but was unfortunate enough to be one of the two players who deflected his brothers shot past a stranded Mark Schwarzer. Riise polled 29% of the vote.

Here at Vital Fulham we don`t think it will be long before Bjorn is knocking on Roy`s door for a regular first team spot.

Our latest poll focuses on the trip to Wigan, slightly less fashionable than Rome but a lively place all the same (worbo the Vital Wigan editor told me to say that!)

Please vote for the result you believe the fixture will provide!
