As the new season draws nearer by the day, is it really just over a week away, news has broken of another youngster being given the chance to shine whilst on loan.

The club has announced that Liam Donnelly has joined the League Two side, Crawley Town, on loan.

Nineteen year old Donnelly, who has yet to make his senior debut for Fulham Football Club, will spend one month at Crawley where it is hoped that he will gain some much needed experience.

Donnelly, a defender is able to play as a right-back or as a centre half.

Speaking about the acquisition the Crawley Town manager, Mark Yates, had this to say to the official Crawley web site,

“With Lanre Oyebanjo out until October we need cover in the right-back position and Liam is a player we have had on our radar for a while.”

Here at Vital Fulham we wish Liam well during his excursion away from the capital.
