Hands up who has been into Europe with Fulham before?
Thought not!
But qualification for the group stages of the Europa League have given us just that chance. The draw provided us with three top-notch cities to visit in Rome, Basle and Sofia.
Not surprisingly the vast majority of you 66% picked ‘The Eternal City` as the destination that tickled your fancy the most. The sights have obviously whetted you appetite as Fulham venture towards the Olympic Stadium.
Second in our poll was Sofia, with 14% electing to taste its eastern delights whilst 13% went for the all three option (just like me!)
Trailing up the rear was poor old Basle, neutral Switzerland waiting to empty our wallets with expensive prices no doubt. I went there in the early eighties and had to cough up £3 for a pint of Guinness then!
