First the tabloid press were reporting that Sunderland might be sniffing around Paul Konchesky now they`ve come up with another destination.
A leading red-top is, this morning, suggesting that Alex McLeish, at Birmingham City, is considering a bid to lure our left back away.
The price quoted is a mere £750,000 which beggar`s belief when you consider what Paul brings to a side and what a decent replacement would cost.
Just like with the Sunderland bid, we`ll suggest this is a bit of a no-go from the start!
