I can`t help but feel I`m on a roll here.
I`ve even surprised myself with a third article in three days; it must be all that cajoling by Putney that`s psyched me up!
Already this week I`ve proposed two hypothetical scenarios, the first went down well but the second got a mixed response so I`m damned if I know how this one will be received.
Looking out of the window, watching the rain lashing down and the wind howling has made me question one of those features that many believe are part and parcel of football – playing in all weathers.
Now, throughout the years, I`ve stood on many a terrace when it`s been lashing it down with rain, I`ve stood there hands cupped around a hot drink trying to thaw my fingers out and never once did I even contemplate change.
But, as I get older I can`t help wondering if we`re missing a trick here, I can`t help thinking if our game should be adapting to fit in with all this climate change.
Therefore, I`d like to know, What If (3) proposals were put in place to adopt a winter break or to shift the season to cover the summer months, would you be in favour or have I eaten one too many magic mushrooms (again)?
