From miffed to downright outraged it would seem!

After we suggested that West Ham were not entirely happy with the fact we played a below par side at Hull, last Saturday, it now seems certain that West Ham United are taking the matter further.

According to reports filtering through, West Ham are now set to make a formal complaint to the Premier League, with a West Ham spokesperson quoted as saying,

‘Roy Hodgson admitted on television that he had rested players because he had an important Europa League match coming up.’

‘He admitted fielding a weakened team. From our point of view that’s awful and we are going to put in a complaint.’

‘Fulham are suing us for £500,000. They may find West Ham suing them for £50million next season.’

Tit for tat over the Tevez affair, or what!

Perhaps the rest of the Premier League should sue West Ham for fielding a totally inept team for most of this season!

  • Werst Spam need to fix the roof rather than worry about next door’s sprinkler. What’s the point of having a squad if you’re not allowed to play it when you want? A vacuous argument (or excuse), in my opinion! I only wish Chelksea did it in the Carling cup games.

  • you know what helps keep you up in the league? winning… try that for once, west ham. good grief.

  • For what it’s worth, it seems that most West Ham fans want nothing to do with this business, so I’ll give them credit. Too bad the club management don’t see it that way.

  • agreed… popped over to vital west ham and they’re more or less against it and are more interested with the product on the field… can’t fault them there…

  • sad really you would think that they would have more respect of sir roy….is zola backing this?
