The thrilling 4-0 victory over Notts County yesterday afternoon has certainly lifted spirits.
Our FA Cup dreams are alive and well and we`re all dreaming of a return to Wembley for the first time since 1975.
In fact, that return could be sooner rather than later with the FA decreeing that both FA Cup semi-finals will be played at the famous stadium.
Therefore, if we can edge past either Spurs or Bolton, a task we`re quite capable of, then the famous stadium will be ours for the day.
After the 4-0 win over Notts County, Roy Hodgson spoke about that very dream, re-iterating his previous comments by remarking,
“We should seize the opportunity to achieve greatness.”
“Getting to Wembley would be another major step forward for us.”
“We`ll be motivated and nervous about the quarter-final because we badly want a result.
Come on you whites!
“Wembley, Wembley, we`re the famous Fulham Football Club and we`re going to Wembley!”
