Our poll, spanning Wednesday and the majority of Thursday, asked a simple question.
With Andrew Johnson suspended who should play in his place?
Naturally, we assumed that Roy Hodgson would stick with the two strikers option.
We gave you the opportunity to select from three options – Ki-Hyeon, Dempsey and Nevland.
As it turned out, it was a close contest with the candidates almost neck-a-neck at most stages of the voting.
In the end though, it was Erik Nevland who emerged as the winner with 44% of the vote.
So there it is Roy, pair Erik Nevland with Bobby Zamora, in the absence of Andrew Johnson!
