Fulham v Sunderland – Early Team-News

|

Friday night sees Fulham back in action and live on Sky Sports for the second consecutive week.

With the race for the second automatic promotion place heating up, Fulham welcome Sunderland to Craven Cottage, for a Championship fixture.

If Fulham win, then they leap-frog Cardiff City to reclaim second place in the table.

However, Sunderland could be dangerous opposition, already relegated to League One, the Black Cats have nothing other than their pride to play for.

With the fixture fast approaching, we’ve assembled some early team-news.

Starting with Fulham:

We see no reason, on the back of the fine away performance last Friday when Millwall were trounced 3-0, for Slavisa Jokanovic not to field the same starting eleven.

Continuing with Sunderland:

With relegation now a certainty, the Sunderland manager, Chris Coleman, could make changes, giving a few youngsters a chance to impress.

As for his senior players, Coleman will be without Aiden McGeady, however, the defender Lamine Kone is expected to be fit despite leaving the field of play injured, against Burton Albion, last time out.
