Whilst we`re happy to be in round five, our beaten hosts, Kettering Town, will no doubt awaken this morning pondering over what could have been.

A win for Kettering would have seen them in round five for the first time in their history.

After the game, Mark Cooper, who many of you may remember had a fleeting fourteen game Fulham career, summed up the mood in the Kettering camp, remarking,

“I`m sick.”

Not that we didn`t hang on for a draw in those last five minutes but that we didn`t go on and win the game. I thought we did enough to win.”

“It will be a long time before you see a non-league side put on a display like that against a premier League side.”

“Those players in there are very, very sad but I told them they should be proud and that they put on an unbelievable performance.”

Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish Kettering every success for the remainder of the season, you done yourselves, and your club, proud!
