As Fulham Football Club prepares to welcome Nottingham Forest to Craven Cottage for the penultimate home game of the 2015 / 2016 season, we do so knowing we`ll be playing Championship football next season.

Any fears of dropping into the third tier of English football have been vanquished after some fine recent wins.

But with Forest arriving at the Cottage, what do the record and form books tell us:-

1 – Games between ourselves and Nottingham Forest tend to generate goals galore. The last four games between the two sides have seen the accumulation of twenty-two goals, which equates to 5.5 a game I wonder if we will see more of the same today?

2 – Nottingham Forest have a poor recent record at Craven Cottage, The last nine league games have seen Forest in just one with Fulham winning five and the other three being draws.

3 – If Fulham take the lead don`t be too surprised if things go pear-shaped. Fulham, having taken the lead in Championship games this season have, somehow, contrived to go on and lose 28 points from winning position, the highest in the Championship this season.

4 – Nottingham Forest, on the road have trouble scoring more than one goal. In twenty-one away games this season, Forest have scored more than one goal just once. Their tally of 13 goals away from home in the Championship is the lowest in the Championship this season.

5 – If Fulham keep clean sheet it`ll be a rarity, Fulham in thirty-two games this season, have managed that feat just the once.
