It’s lovely to be down by the Thames today, waiting to enter Craven Cottage for Fulham’s first fixture of the new Premier League season, it’s a moment we’ve been waiting for since our club emerged triumphant in the Championship Play-Off Final, at Wembley, back in May.
Down by the river bank there is an air of expectation with the home support keen to see their heroes embark on what could be a memorable return to top-flight football with the club having brought in a plethora of signings, the drinks are flowing, and the banter is lively with those wearing the familiar shirts of our club soaking up the ambience of what is a wonderful occasion.
