After two consecutive wins, Fulham`s chances of being sucked into a dreaded relegation battle have rescinded somewhat.

Whilst it would be foolish to take anything for granted, the mere fact that there is a seven point gap between Fulham and the third from bottom club, MK Dons, is enough to let us all sleep a little sounder at night.

This Saturday we welcome promotion-casing Cardiff City to Craven Cottage looking for a third consecutive win that would surely mean we`d be all but safe for another season in the Championship.

As we prepare to welcome Cardiff to the Cottage, we`ve pulled together a few facts and figures for you to mull over, we hope you enjoy them:-

1 – Fulham haven`t kept a clean-sheet against Cardiff in the last fifteen fixtures, in all competition, the two teams have played. In those fifteen games Fulham have conceded thirty goals.

2 – Fulham have not won any of the last six games between the two sides, in the league, losing four and drawing two.

3 – When it comes to goals scored by Fulham, nine of the last ten have come from either Ross McCormack (5) or Moussa Dembele (4).

4 – Cardiff City, when it comes to goals, have scored four of their last five through headers, strangely enough none of their previous twenty-seven had come from headers.

5 – Ross McCormack, as well as scoring five out of the last ten goals Fulham have scored, is also responsible for being involved with 48% of the sixty-one goals Fulham have scored this season, the highest percentage in the Championship.
