After the 2-2 draw away to Reading on Saturday, Fulham face a tough home fixture this Tuesday evening.

The Cottagers welcome top-of-the-table Burnley to Craven Cottage, with Burnley on a twelve match unbeaten run that stretches as far back as December 28th.

Looking at the fixture lists it certainly hasn`t been kind to Fulham with a home game against Burnley following on from a home game against Middlesbrough.

But now is not the time to moan, now is the time to step forward and see if we can really test a Burnley side, managed by Sean Dyche, in a fixture that will give Salvisa Jokanovic a further indication of just what is needed to be done this summer to turn around the fortunes of a club that was gracing the Premier League and also appeared in a European Final not that long ago.

But, with inconsistency being the word used to describe Fulham, don`t write of our chances of pulling of a surprise win.

After the 2-2 draw against Reading, Luke Garbutt spoke about the draw at the Madjeski Stadium and the forthcoming fixture against Burnley, remarking to the media,

“The point is going to be vital at the end of the season.

“Now we have got to go into Tuesday`s game against Burnley with belief and confidence.

“In the second half we were a lot more solid defensively. Although we didn`t create that much, we deserved the point.”

Can Fulham pull off a surprise and dent Burnley`s promotion hopes this Tuesday evening?

I wouldn`t bet against it!
