That age old question has raised its ugly head again, this time thanks to a snippet of information discovered in the Evening Standard tonight.

The paper in question is using the presence of the Queens Park Rangers chairman, Flavio Briatore, to pour fuel on the suggestion that his mere presence, alongside Mohamed Fayed was reason enough to resurrect the ground share proposal.

According to the Standard, we`ll move out of Craven Cottage, Queens Park Rangers will move out of Loftus Road and we`ll both share a brand spanking new stadium to be built at White City.

It`s a suggestion that has been doing the rounds for quite awhile and we`d like to gauge your opinion regarding the matter in our latest poll.

Would you be for or against the plan?

Obviously, after moving heaven and earth to get back to Craven Cottage feelings about moving out is an emotional subject.

Therefore, please feel free to leave your opinions after this article in the comments section provided whilst also taking the opportunity to vote in our associated poll.

  • Selling your history to the developers – something Ken Bates (bless him) fought tooth and nail against down at Stamford Bridge!

  • Surely this won?t happen?!!?!? Why would Al Fayed bother with the extension of the Cottage just to move out? I like our Craven Cottage. It has a special character, it may not be the biggest stadium but it’s our home! Oh and is the Hammy end a temporary stand? Maybe make that bigger? Add another level?

  • i dislike ground sharin – it removesd any charator the stadium might have. (not that all stadium have any charactor…)

  • Craven Cottage is the home of football, but still a shiny new stadium sounds nice to me. And also ground sharing is common in Europe just look at AC and Inter Millan the two biggest clubs share the same ground

  • I’d miss the cottage if we moved i remember being ivited in by Mickey Adams ‘cos it was my birthday and getting all the playes to sign my shirt. It’s what memories are made of, expand all they want or if they move take the cottage with them!

  • Backslash would we honestly need 35,000 seats? We were 1300 people short of filling the Cottage this season with our highest gate of 25300!
