The red card shown to Aboubakar Kamara, last night, against Bristol City, looked a little harsh.

Kamara was shown a straight red card after what seemed a shove on the Bristol City captain Bailey Wright.

But, it wasn`t the referee that witnessed it but his assistant who, so we`re told, interpreted the offence as violent conduct.

Today it has been announced that Fulham have decided to appeal against the red card and Slavisa Jokanovic believes there is a good chance the club will get a positive response from the appeal with the boss remarking to the media,

‘The linesman interpreted it as violent conduct.

‘But this kind of situation happens in all Championship games. Aboubakar made a mistake as he gave the referee a chance to show him a red card.

‘I expect we will win this appeal.’

If Fulham don`t then Kamara will miss the fixtures against Wolves, Derby County and Sheffield United.

Fingers crossed chaps!
