With news scarce I could pontificate about how our ex-left back Paul Konchesky is absolutely loving it at Liverpool.

After playing for West Ham and Fulham, Konchesky appears to be over the moon at having finally moved to a big club and has given the usual spiel that goes with moving to a new club.

I said I could pontificate about it but I won`t because like the majority of you, I`ve heard it all before and it`s become just a little too tiresome.

Besides, onwards and upwards is our philosophy now is it not!

  • good player but miserable, I was put off of him during a Europa game when I heard him shouting abuse at a fan- my 8 year old didn’t appreciate the swearing…

  • i am certainly not sad to see him go… he was servicable… solid left back, attacked decently well, but i never fell in love with him… of well… i would have liked shorey, but hopefully salcido is good.

  • The papers seem to think he (salcido) is at least as good as, if not better than konch but don?t really know to much about him, time will tell

  • Just kidding. He was a solid player for us. Glad he got the opportunity to move to a ‘big club.’ Though, I wouldn’t buy a house just yet, Paulie. Something tells me you’re not Liverpool’s cup of tea and with new ownership, your days will be numbered.
