Last week I was pessimistic about our chances, the week before I was optimistic, and before that I was pessimistic, and so on.

The possibility of us getting into Europe seems to change with the wind for me. However, as we draw ever nearer to the end of the season, I think we stand a very, very good chance. That is why I have brought this up.

Now, our away form has only really taken shape over the last month or so, and with that poor form, came what I would say was a ‘reluctance to travel’ from our fans, and I mean this in no spiteful or negative way. It is fair for me to announce we don’t take the biggest numbers with us around the country, although we certainly take the most passionate and vocal.

With Europe on the horizon, a thread on the forum got me thinking – “How many are really going to travel to Europe?”

I, for one, would be honoured to travel around Europe along with the side close to my heart, but costs and travel comes into it. I just hope we bring a good following, and the majority of the current away bunch come along, as they are truly superb fans!

Europe, get ready, ’cause the Fulham fans are coming!

  • I am there – Fulham have supporters with the highest wages, I don’t think we will struggle.

  • im not so sure. Given our away turnout to games in England as well as our well renowned away form i doubt that so many supporters will be willing to make the trip. Remember, with a great pay-packet comes great responsibility lol

  • Our away turnout at Middlesboro was embarrassing. I have just been told that my team is being dismantled at work, so I am out of work in September. I want to go to away European games and whilst I might now have some time, I will need to find work. Anyone need an Internet Marketeer/Event Manager?
