Wigan away could be a crucial fixture.
We`re currently out of the relegation picture but in the strange situation whereby if Wigan were to beat us today we`d tumble back down into the relegation places.
The compressed nature of the Premier League may provide fantastic entertainment for the casual football fan but for those clubs in the bottom half it makes for nervy times.
Ahead of what is a relegation scrap with Wigan, Mark Hughes has warned that there is no room for complacency at the foot of the table and warned that there are numerous clubs who could be in for an end of season fright, when he commented to the press,
“The relegation battle could go right to the end with maybe even or eight clubs still involved.”
“The clubs who have come up are stronger than in other years, while the top teams have been dropping points.”
Hopefully, by the time May comes around, we`ll be well clear of the bottom half of the table.
