Fulham manager Chris Coleman is planning a £500,000 offer for Newcastle United defender Titus Bramble, The Mirror has reported.

The 25-year-old involved many a times in defensive mistakes, is believed to be out of contract at the end of the season. The Cottagers have an eye on him with the January transfer window beckoning.

Despite representing England frequently at Under-21 level, he has yet to make the transition to the full team due to frequent unexplainable lapses in concentration on field.

A former defender himself with Fulham (1997-2002) , Coleman is confident he can mould ‘Titus the Titan` Bramble into a top centre-half and bring to the fore the Suffolk-born player`s true potential.

The product of Ipswich Town academy, who also had a loan spell at Colchester, Bramble could be set out on a free transfer from the Magpies at the end of the season.

The 36-year-old Coleman, who is managing Fulham since 2003, has been associated with a move for Everton’s Simon Davies and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra .

But as most of it has been reported in the ‘Mirror’ it’s probably bull!!
