The new season may still be a long way off but at least we`re about to take that crucial first step – the dreaded return for pre-season training!
Hopefully, the players will have kept themselves in reasonable shape when they report tomorrow morning to prepare for the 2008-2009 season.
Motspur Park will witness Roy and his squad begin preparations for our assault on a European place (are we all not optimistic at this stage of the season?) and there will be several new faces on show as well as numerous familiar faces no longer there.
We wish them well and we hope that first day back will not be as daunting as it used to be before professional footballers decided to look after their bodies better!
