We travel to Hull this Saturday without the crucial services Andrew Johnson was supposed to bring to the side.
Johnson, our recent signing from Everton, has a thigh strain and isn’t available.
It transpires that this thigh strain has been niggling Johnson throughout the protracted transfer negotiations and the shuffling backwards and forwards between both camps prevented Johnson receiving any treatment, or as Roy puts it,
‘We weren’t allowed to treat him and he wasn’t at Everton either.’
Let’s hope the situation has eased so that Johnson can make his debut against Arsenal next weekend.
